Prepare the Dough:

Divide the Dough:
- After the resting period, divide the dough into small lemon-sized balls. Roll each ball between your palms to make them smooth and round.
Rolling out the Rotis:
- Heat a tawa (griddle) or a large flat pan over medium-high heat.
- Take one dough ball and dip it into dry flour to coat it lightly.
- Place the dough ball on a clean, flat surface and roll it out into a very thin, large circle. You can use a rolling pin to achieve this. Aim for a thickness similar to a handkerchief.
- If the dough sticks to the rolling pin or surface, dust it lightly with more flour.
- Once rolled out, carefully lift the roti and place it on the hot tawa.
Cooking the Roti:
- Cook the roti for about 30 seconds on one side until you start to see small bubbles forming.
- Flip the roti and cook the other side for another 30 seconds. You should see some light brown spots forming.
- Remove the roti from the tawa and place it on a plate. Repeat the process with the remaining dough balls.
Keeping Them Soft:
- To keep the rumali rotis soft and warm, you can stack them on a plate and cover them with a clean kitchen towel or aluminum foil.
